Big Tex 14GN, Gooseneck, 102" x 33', 15.9K, Dovetail, Mega Ramps

The Big Tex 14GN features two 7,000# premium axles with quick-lubricating hubs and forward self-adjusting electric brakes on both axles. It has a multi-leaf slipper spring suspension with an equalizer and a 2-5/16” Demco EZ Latch gooseneck coupler secured with 3/8" Grade 70 safety chains. Dual 12,000# drop-leg jacks with a greasable handle provide stability.

The frame is a 12" I-beam (14# or 16# for 28' and longer), with 3" channel cross-members and a treated pine floor. The trailer includes 5' double-hinged spring assist flip-over ramps, 8' rear slide-in ramps (STA models only), or optional 5' MEGA ramps. A 5' cleated dovetail is standard on D5A models, while a straight deck option is available.

For secure cargo handling, the trailer has stake pockets along both sides (24" O.C.), a 7-way RV plug, recessed LED lighting, and a sealed modular cold-weather wiring harness. It rides on ST235/80 R-16 Load Range E tires (8-bolt pattern) with a top-of-neck spare tire mount. A professional black primer finish with a 3/8” heavy-duty rub rail on both sides ensures durability.

Additional features include a complete breakaway system with Zip™ breakaway cable and charger, a front lockable toolbox with chain holder, and optional side-mounted or removable deck toolboxes. Cargo management options include 4" winches (sliding or weld-on), 1-1/4” pipe chain spools, extra D-rings, and a 4" x 30' strap. Side bed steps with handles and an optional deck work light package add convenience.
