Recently popped in to get some quotes on a variety of components for repair of some old trailers and towing gear. Staff were extremely helpful and responsive and provided their own insight or experience with issues with the components. Derek was very helpful and responsive to questions and making sure the components were going to meet the needs for repair.

We bought a new trailer in Fowler from Big Tex a few months ago! Derek and Dave helped us narrow down our search and find the right trailer for our specific needs. Then recently, unfortunately we encountered an unforeseen defect with the trailer and I took it in to service. I was afraid that my warranty wouldn’t cover the repair, but sure enough, I spoke to Derek and he assured me that it would be taken care of. So I dropped the trailer off at Big Tex. Then 3 short days later I received a call from Derek: “Your trailer is fully repaired, warranty covered!” I’ll tell you that you can buy a trailer from anywhere. But to get exceptional service and quick turnaround is hard to come by! And I absolutely NEEDED my trailer back and they got it back to me in a hurry! So if you are in need of a new trailer, talk to Derek and Dave at Big Tex Trailer World in Fowler!

I cant speak for the actual business. However, the supposed owner of this place, (Derek Ash) not a nice guy! He was seen in another place of business belittling and cursing at a young retail employee. Over a price discrepancy. The staff of the retail store were all friendly and understanding. But because he was slightly inconvenienced he felt the need disclose the fact that he owns his own business and if someone made a mistake like this he would have them fired. Well I feel bad for anyone employeed by this "man." He seems like a very short tempered individual that needs learn to be respectful of woman. I would think twice about your trailer needs before giving your business to him. Be better Derek!

If you were in Central California and you are looking for a top level place to up, fit your chassis, cab truck or to purchase a trailer and you want to be treated properly and professionally then you need to go see Derek Ash at Big Tex Trailers in Fowler California. This guy is the best Representative that this company could possibly have. It would be a disservice to call him a sales person. He’s not a pushy sales person in the slightest. He listened to what I was looking for and politely showed me around and showed me the different Options available to me for my particular truck. I was able to make a decision right away and thanks to Derek’s patience and help. I was able to purchase this truck and have it installed the same day which was absolutely amazing. At this point I should point out that the installer Mitchell Osborn did such an amazing job installing this bed on my truck it was like he did truck I can’t think the two of these gentlemen enough and have already recommended them to a number of friends and business associates. They also have a very large selection of accessories for the truck bed which I will be purchasing this week and will look forward to seeing Derek again.
