Bought a new X-Series dump trailer and the tarping system nearly immediately broke because the manufacturer didn't tighten a nut and the gears fell off while I was driving. I was told to go in so they could get photos of the missing parts. I did so, even though I…
Bought a new X-Series dump trailer and the tarping system nearly immediately broke because the manufacturer didn't tighten a nut and the gears fell off while I was driving.
I was told to go in so they could get photos of the missing parts. I did so, even though I had to drive out of the way and take time out of my day for something that I could have easily done/emailed myself. I was told 10-days ago they'd check with corporate on the parts and heard nothing back. While the tarping system was damaged it flew up while I was driving down I-4 and completely shredded the brand new tarp.
I've bought much cheaper trailers with much better service from David's Trailer in Orlando. When purchasing trailers in the future I'll think twice before choosing BigTex.
Edit: I was told BigTex is sending replacement parts to fix the tarping system. I’ll adjust my review accordingly if this issue is resolved satisfactorily.
